Your Role in the Squad
- Create tailored programmes that help players explore identity beyond football
- Support the full player journey — from onboarding to life after the game
- Deliver workshops on education, career planning & life skills
- Act as a trusted, confidential support for players & staff
- Champion mental health, wellbeing & personal growth
- Embed social wellbeing — building purpose, connection & confidence
- Help players develop their personal brand & future pathways
Requirements
What You Bring
- Experience supporting high-performance female athlete
- Background in wellbeing, education, mentoring or coachin
- Strong understanding of player transitions & life beyond spor
- Ability to thrive in a diverse, inclusive & high-performance environmen
- Passion for women’s football and making a lasting impact

Successful candidates must undergo essential background checks before starting their employment, which may include screening of social media. The type of DBS check required will depend on the responsibilities of the position and may be basic, standard, or enhanced.
- The successful candidate agrees to proactively identify and respond appropriately to any concerns, and follow the Club’s Safeguarding reporting procedures to report allegations of abuse, poor practice, or anything that may impact the welfare of a child, young person, or adult at risk without delay, within 24 hours, or as otherwise directed by the Club’s or the West Ham Foundation Safeguarding Team.
