The Rise of Women’s Football Germany Meet Up kicks off at 6.00 pm at the Nio House in Frankfurt. Student attendees will be given the chance to choose a masterclass. The expert talks will take place in the same time. After the sessions there will be time for all in attendance to network with each other.

Markus Högner is head coach of SGS Essen. He’s developed some of Germany's most talented women's players such as Lena Oberdorf, Sara Doorsoun and Marina Hegering. As one of only two clubs in the  Frauen-Bundesliga without a men’s team, Markus has managed to build a team that can still compete well in the division.

Nadine Angerer is one of the most successful german football players. In 2013 she’s won the Ballon d’Or and was named best female player in the world by FIFA.

Kay Dammholz is the Director for Media Rights at the German Football Association. He’s held previous positions at Sportfive, Kentaro, DFL and DAZN.

Haruka Gruber holds the position of Senior VP of Media and Head of Central Europe at DAZN. He’s been previously the chief reporter of Spox.com and Head of Content at DAZN predecessor Perform.

Franziska Wittersheim is an exprienced lawyer at one of the most renowned law firms in sports - Lentze Stopper. She looks after clients such as national and international sport federations and top athletes. Her passion lies in women’s football where she supports players at the Women’s Football Agency and advises The Rise of Women’s Football in all legal matters.

Jessica Stommel is leading the women’s football sales hub at Sportfive, after previously being responsible for women’s football marketing. Stommel previously worked as a sponsorship and marketing manager in various international positions in equestrian sports.

Mara Pfeiffer has accompanied Mainz 05 as a journalist for many years with analyses and columns. She is a guest on TV and radio as an expert on women’s football topics on and off the pitch. Together with Annika Becker, she founded the portal BOLZTRIBÜNE, and both also run the podcast “Becker & Pfeiffer”. In her articles, she writes about social aspects of sport and imbalances that are reflected in women’s football. She is a member of the German Academy for Football Culture and the author of nine books, including non-fiction and crime novels about Mainz 05, as well as the biography of Wolfgang Frank and Alexandra Popp.
