Job Description
Your playing field
The women’s football department is seeking a team manager for the Werder Bremen women’s team, starting July 1, 2026. The position is available full-time or part-time and is initially limited to two years.
You are present at all team events and ensure a smooth running of home and away games, training sessions and training camps by preparing and following up on equipment, sports materials, catering and the team changing room.
Your tasks
- Responsibility for order and structure in the team changing room and equipment rooms, as well as documentation and maintenance of equipment inventories.
- Issuance/return, management, inventory and maintenance of training and match clothing, as well as ensuring the completeness of the match equipment.
- Preparation for away games (including equipment and luggage) as well as post-game preparation (equipment maintenance, inventory control, laundry organization)
- Supporting the coaching staff and team management in operational tasks, as well as close cooperation with the equipment manager.
- Supporting the players in individual matters
- Assisting with laundry at the LZ
Your profile
- You have a high degree of flexibility in terms of time, as your deployment plan is based on the training and match schedule of the women’s team (regular weekend work and travel).
- Ideally, you have experience in the sports environment, preferably in competitive sports.
- You are characterized by strong organizational skills and a structured way of working.
- You impress with a high degree of discretion and trustworthiness.
- You are able to act under time pressure and react quickly to new situations.
- You have a strong hands-on mentality.
- You are a team player and have strong communication skills.
- You have a Class B driving licence.
