Position Summary

The Coordinator, Community Engagement & Growth is responsible for executing community initiatives that both drive meaningful impact and contribute to revenue growth for the club.

This role sits at the intersection of Community, Ticketing, and Partnerships, ensuring that community programs are not only well-executed, but also structured to generate leads, drive group sales, and convert new fans.

The coordinator will play a key role in building a repeatable pipeline from community engagement to ticket revenue, while delivering best-in-class events and experiences.

This position reports to the Manager, Community Impact and works cross-functionally with Marketing, Partnerships, and Ticketing.

THIS IS AN IN-PERSON 6-MONTH CONTRACT POSITION.  PAID HOURLY (NOT BENEFITS ELIGIBLE).

Key Responsibilities

Community Event Execution & Planning 

  • Lead execution of all community events and programs
  • Develop run of show documents and staffing plans
  • Oversee logistics including setup, breakdown, and vendor coordination
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality experience across all activations

Community-to-Revenue Pipeline Development 

  • Support and execute group sales initiatives tied to community programs (youth orgs, schools, nonprofits)
  • Coordinate ticket-based community programs (school programs, theme nights, fundraising experiences)
  • Partner with Ticketing to manage prospect lists, track outreach, and support conversions
  • Help build and maintain lead capture systems at events and activations
  • Assist in developing repeatable offers and pathways from participation to purchase
  • Track key metrics including leads generated, conversion rates, and revenue influenced

Matchday Community Integration 

  • Lead execution of community elements on matchdays
  • Coordinate community groups, on field moments, and in stadium activations
  • Support fulfillment of group ticket experiences tied to community outreach
  • Ensure seamless integration with game presentation and operations teams

Donation & Fulfillment System 

  • Manage all donation requests from intake through fulfillment
  • Track and maintain inventory of donation items
  • Standardize processes for requests, approvals, and distribution
  • Ensure timely and organized fulfillment of all donations

Operational Systems & Process Development 

  • Build and maintain templates for event planning and execution
  • Develop checklists and tools to support consistency
  • Create repeatable processes that improve efficiency and scalability
  • Identify areas for operational improvement and implement solutions

Qualifications

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in event management, sports, community relations, or related field
  • Experience managing multiple events and timelines simultaneously
  • Strong communication and coordination skills across teams
  • Comfortable working nights, weekends, and matchdays as needed
  • Experience in sports or live events is preferred
  • Experience supporting sales, lead generation, or revenue-focused programs is a plus
