Position

We are looking for a Senior Manager Female Player Care in the National Teams & Academy division with immediate effect (part-time / 50%). The position is initially limited until 31.12.2027.

Your playing field

  • Trusted point of contact: You will be the contact person for personal and non-sporting matters of our national team players – with a focus on the women’s national team and the women’s youth national teams.
  • Female Health & Wellbeing: Development and implementation of supplementary measures on women-specific health topics and special career and life phases – in close cooperation with internal and external experts and in exchange with the associations
  • Mental Health: Development and implementation of targeted measures for education and prevention as well as networking with existing support structures and suitable experts
  • Personal and professional development: Development of educational, mentoring and consulting formats during and after an active career – especially with regard to dual careers, further education and career transition
  • Networks & Cooperations: Establishment and further development of networks with current and former players, clubs, educational institutions as well as relevant partners and experts
  • Integration of the player’s perspective in the further development of Female Player Care as well as support for suitable network, communication, media and sponsor formats

What makes you a FOOTBALL MAKER

  • Completed playing career at a high-class level, preferably at the level of the DFB’s senior and youth national teams
  • Outstanding network in the field of national teams and performance-oriented women’s football
  • A degree in a relevant field or relevant professional experience
  • A proactive, communicative and solution-oriented way of working
  • Enjoy working with an interdisciplinary team consisting of a wide range of skills and knowledge from football practice and scientific disciplines
  • Experience in a professional sports association/club, in (sports) institutions/companies or a performance centre
  • Passion for football and overview knowledge of current topics in top-class football
  • Desire for short- and long-term tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, fluent in spoken and written

As part of the German Football Association, the DFB Academy sees itself as a service provider to provide effective impetus for the further development of German football and our national teams. Out of conviction, we bring people together, develop/accompany them and offer orientation as well as new perspectives for their actions. With the position of “Senior Manager Female Player Care”, we are creating a contact point for player concerns outside the green pitch and in close cooperation with the clubs. Through trustworthy educational work and concrete training offers in the areas of women’s health (cycle, pregnancy, mental health, etc.) and non-sporting career support (dual career and career transition), we offer concrete help in holistic development.
