An exciting opportunity with plenty of creative freedom awaits you in our Regional & Team Sales department. We are looking for you to further develop our marketing activities in women’s football in Hamburg (or at one of our other SPORTFIVE locations) as Senior Expert Women’s Football (m/f/d).
Women’s football is one of the most dynamic growth markets in the sports business. For SPORTFIVE, this area is an important field for the future with great potential, high social relevance, and a strong connection to our club and brand partners.
In this role, you will be our key expert for women’s football in Germany. You will contribute your specialist knowledge, market understanding, and fresh perspectives, supporting our sales teams in unlocking the potential of women’s football even more effectively for customers and partners.
As a driving force for women’s football at SPORTFIVE , you combine market knowledge, network, and marketing expertise. You support our teams with expert input, represent the topic externally, and contribute to the targeted development of women’s football’s marketing potential.
Your tasks at a glance
- You are the central contact person for all technical questions concerning women’s football in Germany, especially with regard to our club partners with their own women’s football teams.
- When needed, you will support our sales teams in preparing customer meetings, pitches and marketing concepts, contributing market knowledge, understanding of target groups and relevant insights.
- As needed, you will accompany customer appointments, presentations and discussions with club or brand partners as a subject matter expert.
- Together with the sales teams, you will develop approaches to make women’s football more suitable, authentic and commercially successful for brands.
- You observe developments in national and international women’s football, derive impulses for SPORTFIVE from them and ideally also incorporate best practices from markets such as the UK, USA or Spain.
- You represent the topic of women’s football within SPORTFIVE Germany and strengthen the visibility, quality and consistency of our marketing approaches in this area.
- You regularly attend relevant games, events and industry meetings, further expand your network in women’s football and actively contribute your insights to the organization.
This is your profile
- You bring several years of relevant professional experience in the sports business, sponsoring, consulting, sales, partner management or in a comparable environment.
- You have excellent knowledge of women’s football and a clear understanding of the developments, players, target groups and commercial potential of this market.
- You have a good feel for sales processes, customer needs and the dynamics in pitch and decision-making situations, even if you don’t have to do your own sales in this role.
- You communicate confidently and convincingly, inspire different target groups with your topics, and move confidently in various stakeholder constellations.
- You enjoy working in an advisory, conceptual and networking capacity and take pleasure in making other teams more successful with your know-how.
- You are willing to travel regularly within Germany and also to be present at games or relevant events on selected weekends.
