In the girls’ and women’s football department, we have been passionately promoting the sporting development of women’s football at Borussia Dortmund since October 2020. Since its inception, our BVB women’s team has achieved four consecutive promotions and is currently playing in the Regionalliga West, the third division of German women’s football. This marks another step on our ambitious path to the Bundesliga. Our second women’s team and the U17 girls’ team further strengthen our sustainable development in women’s football.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Kit Manager (m/f/d) as soon as possible on a part-time basis (556 EURO).

Your tasks

  • Organization and management of equipment:
    • Provision, maintenance and management of training and match equipment (jerseys, shorts, socks, shoes, etc.).
    • Organization of the necessary equipment for all players, including ensuring the correct size and quality.
    • Checking and reordering consumables such as tape, water bottles and other supplies
  • Preparation for match days:
    • Preparing the locker room before training sessions and games (e.g. providing jerseys, shoes, spare clothing and other materials)
    • Transport of equipment to away games and its setup on site
    • Support in organizing match days on site
  • Care and maintenance:
    • Cleaning and care of equipment, including jerseys, training wear and accessories
    • Ensuring that the equipment meets the club’s standards.
  • Close collaboration with various stakeholders such as the coaching team, medical staff and team management.

Your profile

  • Experience in materials management or a comparable position, ideally in the sports sector
  • Knowledge of sports equipment and its maintenance is an advantage.
  • Willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends and public holidays
  • Excellent communication skills and empathy, as well as a good sense for dealing with young people and adults.
  • Affinity for Borussia Dortmund and girls’ and women’s football
  • Reliable, structured and independent work style
  • High flexibility, commitment and resilience, especially on match days and during travel.
  • A warm, authentic demeanor and enjoyment of working in a team.
  • Identification with the values ​​and goals of the club Borussia Dortmund
  • Driving licence class B
