We are looking for an intern (m/f/d) in the area of ​​club communications with a focus on Knappenschmiede & women’s football as part of a mandatory internship as soon as possible.

Job Description

Your area of ​​responsibility

  • You research, create, produce, and maintain media content for the women’s football department and the Knappenschmiede for social media channels, the homepage, the club magazine, and other publications.
  • You will be responsible for media relations and help with match day organization in various competitions: Westphalia League (women’s football), State League (women’s football), District League (women’s football), Regional League (Knappenschmiede U23), DFB Youth League (Knappenschmiede U19 and U17), DFB Junior Cup, etc.
  • You are the contact person for media representatives at matches of women’s football teams.
  • You will support the initiation, coordination and support of media and PR appointments.
  • You will be involved in the creation of press releases.
  • You will be responsible for photography and editing photo and video material.

Your profile

  • You are an enrolled student (m/f/d) in the field of media, communication, PR, journalism or a related field of study.
  • You have initial practical experience in creating editorial content for media (e.g. newspapers, online portals, etc.) and can demonstrate this with work samples.
  • You are proficient in all common MS Office programs and ideally also in Photoshop and Adobe Premiere.
  • You have good knowledge of all common social media platforms.
  • You are characterized by strong social skills, an independent and structured way of working and strong organizational skills.
  • You are a strong communicator, flexible and have a high level of willingness to learn and perform.
  • You are a team player with a hands-on mentality and a strong affinity for football.
  • Ideally, you have a class B driving license and your own vehicle.
