Job Description
The physiotherapy coordinator of Professional and Youth Women’s Football is responsible for leading and developing the physiotherapy area, ensuring the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of athletes, in addition to promoting integration between the base and professional categories. Its performance ensures the quality of the services provided, contributes to the health, well-being and sports performance of the players and strengthens the multidisciplinary work with the technical, performance and health areas, aiming at the development and full functionality of the athletes throughout the season.
Responsibilities
- Perform physical evaluations of athletes to identify possible kinetic-functional changes that predispose to a potential future injury.
- Develop and implement programs aimed at reducing the risk of injury in conjunction with the health and performance team.
- Manage physical resources, such as physical therapy equipment and rehabilitation facilities, ensuring their maintenance and efficient use.
- Organize the materials that will be needed for the services and use the appropriate resources according to the logistics of travel and contraction.
- Control the bank of hours, organize vacations, weekly work schedules and games.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in high-performance Sports Physical Therapy, with direct experience in the routine of football clubs.
- Previous experience in leadership positions or coordination in the sector.
- Degree in Physiotherapy with active CREFITO and with a postgraduate degree in Sports Physiotherapy or Specialist Title from SONAFE.
- Coordinate the club’s technical staff of physiotherapists, ability to create, standardize and update standards, workflows and internal procedures of the physiotherapy sector.
- Organization and lead physiotherapy employees, define schedules, control hours and monitor performance.
- Advanced or intermediate English.
