Job Description
In the girls’ and women’s football department, we have been passionately promoting the sporting development of women’s football at Borussia Dortmund since October 2020. Since their inception, our BVB women have been promoted four times in a row and are currently playing in the Regionalliga West, the third division in German women’s football. This marks another step on our ambitious path to the Bundesliga. In addition, our 2nd women’s team, the U17 girls’ team and our newly founded U16 girls’ team strengthen our sustainable development in the field of women’s football.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for an intern (m/f/d) girls’ and women’s football, ideally as part of a mandatory internship over 6 months or a voluntary internship for 3 months.
Your tasks
- Interface between team management and the operational department for girls’ and women’s football
- Assisting the team management in the preparation and organization of training sessions, including the provision of equipment and materials
- Support in the planning and implementation of match days on weekends, including the coordination of marketing measures and team-related processes
- Participation in the maintenance and management of internal and external communication channels
- Support in the planning and implementation of projects and team events
- Supervision and support of the players in organizational and administrative matters
Your profile
- Degree in sports science, sports management or a comparable course of study, ideally with a sports or business focus
- First professional experience in sports desirable
- Strong contact and empathy as well as a good sense of how to deal with adolescents and adults
- Affinity for Borussia Dortmund and girls’ and women’s football
- Reliable, structured and independent way of working
- High flexibility as well as commitment, ambition and passion
