In the Girls’ and Women’s Football department, we have been passionately promoting the development of women’s football at Borussia Dortmund since October 2020. Since its inception, our BVB women’s team has been promoted three times in a row and is currently playing in the Westfalenliga, the fourth tier of German women’s football. This marks another step on our ambitious path to the Bundesliga. In addition, our women’s second team and the U17 girls’ team are strengthening our sustainable development in women’s football.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for an intern (m/f/d) in girls’ and women’s soccer starting May 1, 2025 , ideally as part of a compulsory internship of 6 months or a voluntary internship of 3 months.
Job Description
Your Tasks
- Interface between team management and the operational department of girls’ and women’s football
- Assisting team management in the preparation and organization of training sessions, including the provision of equipment and materials
- Support in the planning and implementation of weekend match days, including the coordination of marketing activities and team-related processes
- Participation in the maintenance and management of internal and external communication channels
- Support in the planning and implementation of projects and team events
- Support and assistance to the players in organizational and administrative matters
Your Profile
- Studies in sports science, sports management or a comparable course of study, ideally with a focus on sports or business
- Initial professional experience in sports desirable
- Strong communication skills and empathy as well as a good sense for dealing with young people and adults
- Affinity to Borussia Dortmund and girls’ and women’s football
- Reliable, structured and independent working style
- High flexibility as well as commitment, ambition and passion
- Warm, authentic demeanor and enjoyment of working in a team
