Job Description

The position

Working alongside the FIFA/FIFA27 Partnership Rights Delivery (PRD) team and reporting to the FIFA Senior Partner Rights Delivery Manager in Zurich and the FIFA27 Senior F&B Concessions Manager, the F&B Concessions Coordinator supports the operational planning and delivery of the Public Food and Beverage (F&B) Concessions Programme for stadium spectators and fulfillment of FIFA’s Commercial Partners’ contractual rights and obligations across all stadiums at the FIFA Women’s World Cup Brazil 2027™. The objective is to implement and deliver successfully the FIFA Commercial Partners’ exclusive food & beverage rights.

This position plays an integral part in ensuring a successful tournament through the delivery of FIFA’s commercial operations in the host country. The role operates under the supervision of the FIFA Senior Partner Rights Delivery Manager and the FIFA27 Senior F&B Concessions Manager and does not carry direct commercial ownership or decision-making authority over F&B concessionaire or Commercial Partner agreements.

Key responsibilities

  • The main responsibilities of the F&B Concessions Coordinator for the FIFA Women’s World Cup Brazil 2027™ encompass supporting the planning, coordination, and operational delivery of the F&B Concessions Programme, including but not limited to:
  • Support the implementation of the Public F&B Concessions Programme across all eight stadiums, including timeline tracking, milestone follow-up, and coordination of deliverables.
  • Assist in integrating Commercial Partner products and services within the F&B Concessions Programme.
  • Support the planning and operational implementation of the commercial rights granted to FIFA’s Commercial Partners within the F&B Concessions Programme.
  • Coordinate with appointed F&B Concessionaire(s), service providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth information flow and execution of services within the F&B Concessions project.
  • Provide administrative and organisational support throughout the F&B concessionaire tender (RFP) and other related F&B related tender processes, including documentation management, evaluation support, reporting and assistance in market research activities.
  • Support the review, mapping, preparation, and optimisation of onsite F&B infrastructure and facilities across all official stadiums, ensuring proper documentation and tracking of action points.
  • Track the development and implementation of F&B concepts and operations, menus, pricing, and onsite infrastructure across all stadiums, ensuring deadlines and requirements are met.
  • Coordinate logistics and administrative preparation for stadium inspections and Commercial Partner operational F&B site visits, preparing documentation and follow-up actions.
  • Support the creation and coordination of F&B-related signage and branding elements (e.g. menu boards).
  • Assist in defining and optimising the service and display of F&B Commercial Partners’ products, supporting alignment between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, dashboards, and tracking tools using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, etc.).
  • Assist in developing and maintaining training materials, briefing documents, presentations and operational guidelines.
  • Assist with monitoring daily operations pre-tournament and during tournament time, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.

Your profile

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Catering, Hospitality Management, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent level of education).
Experience
  • 2 – 4 years of professional experience in food & beverage, catering, hospitality, event management, or a related area.
  • Experience supporting F&B concessions or catering operations, ideally within large-scale international events, preferably in the sports industry
  • Exposure to project coordination and administrative support within complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Experience assisting in infrastructure or operational planning is considered an asset.
Skills & Competencies
  • Good understanding of the food & beverage concessions industry; experience in stadium or event environments is an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of utilities and infrastructure requirements relevant to F&B operations (e.g. electricity, water supply).
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards applicable to F&B operations.
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Structured working style with high attention to detail and strong follow-up capabilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and under tight timelines.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with a service-focused approach to commercial rights delivery.
Certification & Requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams; knowledge of Visio and MS Project is an advantage).
  • Experience using planning software and online collaboration tools.
  • Willingness to travel and work extended hours during peak project phases and tournament time.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Right to work in Brazil.
  • Bilingual – Portuguese and English
  • Ability to re-locate to Rio de Janeiro for the duration of the employment (pre-tournament and operational tournament time)
