Job Description
The position
This role will ensure the seamless planning and execution of supply chain operations for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027™ tournament. Will be responsible for material planning, operations planning, procedures and liaison with other Functional areas.
Key responsibilities
- Logistics Planning: Design and implement end-to-end supply chain strategies for host city venues.
- Operational Control: Coordinate warehouse management, material handling, and asset tracking (e.g., equipment for stadiums and training sites).
- Stakeholder Management: Work with Host Cities, Official Logistics Service Providers (LSPs), and FIFA functional areas to align on requirements.
- Risk Mitigation: Maintain risk registers and develop contingency plans for logistical challenges.
- Reporting: Monitor KPIs for logistics, policies and procedures
Your profile
- Education: Engineering, Administration, Economics, International relations or other related areas.
- Experience: minimum 5 years experience in material planning, logistics and procurement.
- Collaborative mindset, adaptable and willing to work to tight and changing timelines.
- Proficient in analytical thinking and data skills.
- Demonstrates positive attitude, patience, persistence, and determination.
- Experience working in a multi-cultural, multi-national environment.
- Advanced proficiency in IT tools (excel and others)
- Excelent knowledge in AI
- Right to work in Brazil
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Fluent in Portuguese (spoken and written)
- Ability to re-locate to Rio de Janeiro
