Job Description
The position
The Accreditation programme requires clear, consistent, and accurate documentation and training materials to support staff, volunteers, and stakeholders across all venues and operational environments.
The Accreditation Documentation & Training Material Manager plays a central operational role in coordinating, developing, and delivering accreditation documentation and training content that supports consistent accreditation delivery throughout the tournament lifecycle.
Reporting to the FIFA27 Accreditation Senior Manager / Project Lead, the Accreditation Documentation & Training Materials Manager is responsible for the coordination, development, and delivery of accreditation documentation and training materials in support of tournament operations.
Working within established FIFA accreditation policies and frameworks, and in close collaboration with FIFA Zurich Accreditation, Accreditation Operations, Client Group Management, Systems, Security, and Venue teams, the role ensures that accreditation information and training materials are accurate, up‑to‑date, and accessible to all relevant audiences.
This role focuses on content coordination, operational enablement, and quality assurance.
Key responsibilities
Accreditation Documentation & Content Management:
- Coordinate the development and maintenance of accreditation documentation for multiple audiences, including management, accreditation staff, volunteers, and external stakeholders.
- Support the production of accreditation guidelines, manuals, process documents, and instructional materials.
- Ensure all documentation aligns with approved FIFA accreditation policies, procedures, and terminology.
- Coordinate reviews, updates, and version control of accreditation materials throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate the development and delivery of accreditation training materials across multiple formats (e.g. presentations, instructional videos, train‑the‑trainer content, digital learning tools).
- Identify the most appropriate media and formats to support different training needs and stakeholder groups.
- Support the planning and implementation of accreditation training programmes in coordination with Accreditation Operations, Systems and Client Group Management.
- Review and refine training materials based on feedback from events and tournament operations.
- Support centralised issue resolution processes by ensuring relevant accreditation guidance and reference materials are available and current.
- Work across Accreditation workstreams to support operational deliverables where documentation or training inputs are required.
- Support information sharing across workstreams to ensure consistent understanding of accreditation processes and updates.
- Ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency of all accreditation documentation and training materials.
- Support compliance with data protection, access control, and accreditation governance requirements.
- Ensure changes to processes or procedures are clearly communicated and reflected across all documentation.
YOUR PROFILE
- University degree or equivalent in Event Management, Sports Administration, Operations, or a related field.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in accreditation, event operations, training, documentation, or related roles within major events.
- Experience working with accreditation or access control systems is an advantage.
- Experience working in fast‑paced, multicultural environments.
- Strong organisational and coordination skills.
- Excellent written communication and technical documentation skills.
- Experience developing training and instructional materials.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and common collaboration and content creation tools.
- Right to work in Brazil.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Fluent in Portuguese (spoken and written)
- Ability to re-locate to Rio de Janeiro.
