Job Description
Main tasks
1. PHYSIOTHERAPEUTIC CARE, REHABILITATION & PREVENTION: You will care for the players before, during and after team training sessions as well as on match days and create individual physiotherapy and training plans for injured players as part of the integration training with the aim of rehabilitation and prevention.
2. COMMUNICATION & COORDINATION WITHIN THE MEDICAL TEAM: You will continuously coordinate with players, staff, external partners and cooperating doctors on physiotherapy topics such as injuries, diagnoses and planned operations, and coordinate the necessary appointments in this context.
3. PERFORMANCE DIAGNOSTICS IN YOUTH PLAYERS: You prepare, conduct, and evaluate the performance diagnostics for the youth teams in close cooperation with the athletic department.
4. DOCUMENTATION & PROGRESS MONITORING: You ensure complete, structured and traceable documentation of injuries and therapy progress in the database provided by the employer.
Miscellaneous
1. STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT & BUDGET RESPONSIBILITY: You will develop and be responsible for the strategic development of the women’s and girls’ department based on the latest scientific findings and have experience in planning, setting and adhering to budgets.
2. THERAPY MANAGEMENT & DOCUMENTATION: You carry out therapeutic measures such as measurements and tests, manage and evaluate them, and ensure complete and structured documentation of injuries and therapy processes in the database provided by the employer.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in competitive sports, preferably in youth development
- Completed studies in sports science with a focus on rehabilitation, physiotherapy or performance diagnostics, or training with state recognition as a physiotherapist, as well as relevant further training and continuing education.
- Reliability, independent and team-oriented work
- A structured way of working as well as a high degree of planning and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and quick comprehension
- You are characterized by team spirit combined with the will to develop and implement new things.
- Safe use of MS Office
- Fluent German and good English skills, both spoken and written.
