Key Responsibilities
- Research, write, and publish articles focused on the business side of women’s football
- Cover topics such as:
- Sponsorships and partnerships
- Investment and funding
- Media rights and broadcasting deals
- Commercial growth of leagues and clubs
- Brand collaborations and marketing strategies
- Conduct interviews with industry professionals (e.g. executives, sponsors, investors, agencies)
- Analyze trends shaping the commercial development of women’s football globally and in the UK
- Translate complex business topics into engaging, accessible content
- Pitch timely, relevant story ideas aligned with industry developments
- Collaborate with the editorial team on strategic content planning
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Experience in journalism, sports writing, or media (professional or portfolio-based)
- Strong writing and storytelling skills in English
- Solid knowledge of women’s football in the UK (e.g. leagues, players, trends)
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Proactive mindset with the ability to pitch ideas
Desirable
