The Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) intends to strengthen its team by hiring a Women’s Football Development Officer.

Job Description

Functions

  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and monitoring of the strategic plan for women’s football;

  • Implement, coordinate, and monitor projects and initiatives that promote and enhance the value of women’s football at a national level, including awareness actions, training programs, and participation initiatives;

  • Ensure coordination with District and Regional Associations (ADR), FPF Class Partners, and Clubs, promoting cooperation within the scope of women’s football;

  • Collaborate with the different FPF departments, ensuring alignment and integration across projects related to women’s football;

  • Monitor and support clubs involved in women’s football activities;

  • Participate in the preparation and submission of applications for international projects;

  • Prepare reports, studies, and analyses on the current state and evolution of women’s football, contributing to the identification of improvement opportunities and emerging trends;

  • Represent the FPF at events, meetings, and institutional initiatives related to women’s football, both nationally and internationally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher education qualification in Sports Management, Economics, Management, Law, Sports Sciences, or related fields;

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in football, preferably within the women’s football context;

  • Fluency in written and spoken Portuguese and English;

  • Strong IT skills from a user perspective;

  • Availability for on-site work at FPF facilities;

  • Flexible working hours and availability to travel to different locations;

  • Mandatory on-site work regime.

  • Strong sense of responsibility, professionalism, ethics, and discretion;

  • Flexibility and adaptability to the pace and workload demands.
