Founded by the former captain of New Zealand’s national women’s football team, Crux Football is building a multi-club model focused on women’s football. This is the group’s second major acquisition, following last year’s purchase of Montpellier-based HSC Féminines.
Caroline Seger Takes a Leadership Role
As part of the partnership, Caroline Seger, one of the most iconic figures in women’s football, has been appointed Head of Football at FC Rosengård.
Key highlights of Seger’s new role:
- Work closely with players and staff on recruitment, mentorship, and long-term football strategy
- Advise on women’s football development nationally and internationally
- Support the club’s sporting and commercial growth
- Bring her experience and leadership to shape the future of the team
Seger recently concluded her legendary playing career with the club. Last autumn, she helped secure FC Rosengård’s Damallsvenskan status from the sidelines, and now she will guide the club’s strategy off the pitch.
“I am deeply passionate about women’s football and creating the best possible conditions for players,” Seger said. “It’s incredibly inspiring to contribute my experience and continue learning.”
A Strategic Partnership for the Future
The collaboration between Crux Football and FC Rosengård combines:
- Long-term investment in women’s football
- Experienced football leadership
- Global multi-club vision for the women’s game
This partnership reflects the continued professionalization and growth of elite women’s football in Europe, positioning FC Rosengård for sustained success on and off the pitch.
