Job Description

Main tasks

1. ATHLETIC TRAINING IN TRAINING OPERATIONS : You plan, lead and evaluate the athletic training sessions of the youth teams before, during and after the respective team training on and off the field.

2. SEASON AND LOAD MANAGEMENT: You create and manage the athletic training and game periodization of the youth teams and ensure optimal load management throughout the entire season.

3. INDIVIDUALIZATION & COORDINATION WITH THE MEDICAL SECTOR: You develop individual, interdisciplinary training plans for healthy and injured players and design rehabilitation and integration measures in close cooperation with the physiotherapy department.

4. PERFORMANCE DIAGNOSTICS & EVALUATION: You prepare all performance diagnostics for the youth teams, conduct them and evaluate the results to derive individual and team-related training measures.

5. COMMUNICATION & COORDINATION WITHIN THE STAFF: You continuously coordinate with players, coaching team, medical staff and external partners on athletic topics and translate complex content into understandable everyday training.

Miscellaneous

1. STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT: You will develop and be responsible for the strategic development of athletic training in women’s and girls’ football based on the latest scientific findings, thus contributing to the long-term performance development of our female youth.

Qualifications

  1. Demonstrable experience in competitive sports (preferably in youth sports and ideally in football)
  2. Completed sports science degree with a focus on rehabilitation or performance diagnostics, or a comparable qualification
  3. Reliability, independent and team-oriented work
  4. A structured way of working as well as a high degree of planning and organizational skills.
  5. “Hands-on mentality” and willingness to take on diverse fields of activity
  6. Excellent communication skills and quick comprehension
  7. Fluent German and good English skills, both spoken and written.
  8. Safe use of MS Office
