Cambridge United is seeking a qualified Female Head Coach or Assistant Coaches to join our current OPDL staff.

The chosen candidates will work alongside the HP Manager, Club Head Coaches and Technical Director.

Job Description

The candidate must meet the following criteria

  • Support and promote Ontario Soccer Long-Term Player Development Plan (LTPD).
  • Plan and deliver training sessions in line with the coaching LTPD.
  • Coach and travel with the team to all the events throughout the season.
  • Liaise with other coaches in CYS to identify and promote to the OPDL program.
  • Preparing and assisting with player evaluations as requested by Ontario Soccer.
  • To be responsible for the safety and welfare of all players under your care.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Game.
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment.
  • A clear understanding of the soccer environment in Southwest Soccer and Ontario.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and time management skills.
  • Legally living and entitled to work in Canada.

Qualifications

  • Head Coach – Minimum C License required and available to register for the Concacaf B License.
  • Assistant Coach – Minimum Soccer 4 Life required and available to the C Diploma.
