Top performance requires true professionals. Not just on the pitch, but also at the desk and on the sidelines – with laptop, camera or smartphone in hand: For our Communications and Media department, we are looking for  a Club Media Editor (m/f/d) for our women’s and youth teams, starting July 1, 2026.

Job Description

Your tasks

  • You are part of a three-person communications team that handles editorial matters relating to the teams and topics surrounding the Freiburg Football School (youth performance center of SC Freiburg) and the women’s and girls’ football of the Sport-Club.
  • Your editorial and organizational tasks are very diverse:
    • You will write news articles and match reports for our club media (website, app, stadium magazine, etc.).
    • You create social media content.
    • You also take care of accreditation for home games or organize events like Media Days.
  • You produce photo and video content for the various club channels of the sports club.
  • You can follow the games of various SC teams up close in the stadium with a camera and smartphone or on your laptop.

Your profile

  • You love football , maybe even SC Freiburg, and are open to a new and exciting professional challenge.
  • You have completed your studies in the field of media, communication, sports management/economics or a similar field.
  • Ideally, you have gained initial experience in the field of editing, social media and/or video/TV production (in the football or sports environment) and possess the necessary skills.
  • You are proficient in the common MS Office programs , and you are familiar with the various image and photo editing programs from Adobe (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere).
  • You have excellent writing skills and a creative streak , you enjoy approaching other people and you also use your communication skills professionally.
  • You work in the football environment: this means weekend work, teamwork and travel are a matter of course for you.
