Job Description
As Player Relations Manager – Women’s Football , you will contribute to strengthening adidas’ presence and image as a leading brand in global football, with a particular focus on women’s football. Your mission will be to identify, recruit, and support female talent, while providing a premium service and developing strong relationships with players, their clubs, and their agents.
Your main responsibilities will be the following
- Talent detection & recruitment: Identify and sign promising young players in France and EMEA, in order to make adidas the benchmark brand for professionals.
- Relationship management & premium service: Ensure daily follow-up of contracted players and respond to their needs (products, events, travel).
- Network development: Create and maintain strong relationships with players, agents, clubs, coaches and key stakeholders in women’s football.
- Contribution to the overall strategy: Providing local expertise and insights (players, trends, competition, product feedback) to enrich the international strategy.
- Internal coordination: Collaborate with the Sports Marketing, Brand Marketing, Activation and Operations teams to ensure smooth execution (product orders, events, campaigns).
- Monitoring & reporting: Plan, monitor and facilitate product distribution (SAP, cards, in-store visits) and ensure regular reporting to European and Global teams.
Key relationships
- Internal: France & EMEA Management, Sports Marketing, Brand Marketing, Activation, Finance, Legal teams.
- External stakeholders: Players, agents, clubs, consultants, families, women’s football network.
Desired profile
You hold a Bac+4/5 in sports management, marketing, commerce or equivalent, and have approximately 4 years of experience in a similar position.
You have a solid knowledge of football and the sports market, ideally acquired as a high-level player or coach.
You are proficient in computer tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
You possess excellent organizational, interpersonal and negotiation skills, as well as a good understanding of business and marketing issues.
You speak fluent English (C1 level) and proficiency in another European language is a plus.
You are available to travel 60-70% of the time and demonstrate discretion, proactivity, networking skills and a passion for women’s football.
