Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Campaigns
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to raise the profile of Birmingham City FC’s women’s team.
- Plan and deliver engaging marketing campaigns across digital, social, print, and PR channels.
- Manage content calendars, working across departments to ensure timely delivery of campaigns.
- Work closely with agencies and in-house designers to create compelling marketing materials.
Brand Strategy & Positioning
- Create and implement a long-term brand strategy for the women’s team, ensuring consistency in messaging and visual identity.
- Conduct market research to identify target audiences and develop tailored marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with the design team to maintain a consistent brand identity each season.
Fan Engagement & Community Building
- Increase fan engagement through events, social media activations, and fan-focused campaigns.
- Build and manage a strong online community, enhancing fan loyalty.
- Collaborate with the ticketing team to drive effective ticketing strategies and sales.
Reporting & Analysis
- Monitor and analyse campaign performance and fan engagement metrics, providing insights to inform future strategies.
- Prepare regular reports on marketing efforts, ROI, and brand visibility.
- Manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal spending for maximum impact.
What we’re looking for in you
- Experience in senior marketing, ideally within sports or football.
- Strong understanding of women’s football and its target audience.
- Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and analytics.
- Excellent communication, project management, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for women’s football and a commitment to its growth.
