VfL Wolfsburg
The Media Relations department is responsible for press and public relations at VfL Wolfsburg. In this internship, the main focus is on the media support of our successful women’s football team and the female junior teams. The tasks include the comprehensive editorial design and maintenance of the club’s own online media as well as the support of external media.
Job Description
Your playing position
- You are actively involved in editorial work: you create exciting match reports, conduct interesting interviews and write varied articles for the homepage
- You are the contact person for our players at media events
- And you support the accreditation process for the home game days
- The organizational preparation of press appointments and home games are also part of your duties
- You are also responsible for the implementation of the DFL live ticker on home match days
- Last but not least, you are responsible for taking photos of the training sessions
Your playing style
- You are studying media or communication management, journalism or a comparable course of study
- We don’t even need to mention that you have a great interest in national women’s football
- Ideally, you have some journalistic experience, ideally in sports
- You are experienced in using MS Office, especially Word and PowerPoint
- Our women’s team is international – you have good oral and written English skills
- You have a valid class B driving license to attend external appointments
Your game reward
You will receive a monthly salary of €900 gross for your internship. If you have to move for the internship, we will be happy to help you find a suitable apartment.
