We are excited to announce a new role to support the Altrincham FC Women’s team with their off field administration and organisation.
This is another exciting step for the Women’s team as we aim to bounce back from a disappointing season.
This is a voluntary role.
Job Description
Altrincham FC Community Sports & Altrincham FC are recruiting for an exciting new volunteer role to support the Altrincham FC Women’s Team.
The role will be an administrative role and will support the Team manager with the team’s administration while reporting to the Altrincham FC Community Sports Manager.
Women’s Administration Officer is the principal administrator for the Women’s Team and plays a pivotal role in the general running of the team. They will carry out all the administrative duties that enable the team and its members to function effectively. The They will be the main point of contact for the league and FA with regard to the administration of the team.
Roles & Responsibilities
Secretarial
- Be the main AFC Women’s Contact for League and other Clubs.
- Attendance at League meetings
- Correspondence with League
- Confirmation and Notification of fixtures to opponents, Players, and Management
- Team sheets etc (where appropriate)
- Maintain paper and electronic records of all items.
- Ensure player recruitment and transfers are conducted according to FA and League rules, for the level that we play at.
- Co-ordinate revenue from player and team sponsorship
Match day & Training Facilities
- Assist in identifying suitable pitches and obtaining approval from Club and Women’s Management team.
- Liaison with pitch providers re availability, possible postponement etc
- Maintaining records of pitch usage for financial control
Kit
- Liaise with AFC re the ordering of the seasons kit appropriate for the AFC Women’s team.
- Ensure new players mid-season are provided with kit as required.
- Ensure availability of sufficient footballs for matchdays and training
- Provision of additional items as required by team management and approved by AFC.
